Featuring out of the box dome protection, this ski inspired is skate style. The Galactic MIPS is constructed with a durable ABS shell and also features the MIPS brain protection system, removable and washable pads and two removable edges to customize your style. This model features the MIPS system, whose acronym stands for Multi- Directional Impact Protection System, a slide plane system (of 10-15mm) designed to rotate inside the helmet in all directions. Simply put, a multi-directional impact protection system. This allows to reduce and slow down the amount of energy transferred to the head and brain in order to decrease injuries caused by rotational movements.
